Which Wich Supports Plano ISD's "Beyond High School" Program

Tyler Pence (with sodas) and Tyler Duff (at bus stop)

The Plano, Texas school district has a very special program called "Beyond High School," which helps young adults with disabilities prepare for life after high school.  Students in the program learn how to access their community through the public transportation system and also learn how to work in their community, with many obtaining part-time or full-time jobs.  Which Wich is honored to have two young men from the Beyond High School program working in our Willow Bend and Lakeside Market locations: Tyler Duff and Tyler Pence.
Which Wich salutes Tyler and Tyler for their exceptional work.  Both young men have received "five star" reviews from their managers as well as from our customers for their outstanding dedication and performance.  Keep up the great work!   We're happy to have you on our team!

I think it great to see that you see the benefits that these kids can bring. The pride they take in their work is obvious. I hope more businesses will offer employment opportunities to kids/adults with special needs. The workplace will be enriched.

It's so easy for us to look at those with special needs as "more work", but I will tell you that a few of my BEST employees ever were a few with special needs. As a former "polar plunger" for Special Olypics in Virginia, I really got to know a lot of AWESOME people with special needs. You guys are THE BEST for offering the opportunity they deserve.....I'm sure you're being rewarded just as much as them!!

Three Cheers for these special needs people and Which Wich! Special needs people make wonderful employees and do such a great job! They respect the position and want to always do their best. I have a brother with special needs and he works for us on a part time basis. He is always calling and wanting to work. Sounds unusual in this day and time doesn't it. If you are a business owner you should try it. You will be pleasantly surprised.
